Our treating shampoo for hair pieces gently cleanses while respecting the structure of the fibres — natural or synthetic. It is the first step of a three-step maintenance protocol that extends the lifespan and quality of wigs, extensions and hair pieces.

Its sulfate-free cleansing base is essential: it avoids damaging fibres that are often more delicate than natural hair. It prepares the fibre by removing impurities without altering its quality, so the following care can act in good conditions.

A formulation designed to respect both natural and synthetic fibres — very gentle cleansing base and light conditioners to prepare without weighing down.

  • Sulfate-free cleansing base

    Coco betaine · Decyl glucoside

Ultra-gentle surfactants that preserve fibre structure, particularly synthetic fibres.

  • Glycerin

    Glycerin

Maintains hydration and suppleness — key for synthetic fibres which can stiffen.

  • Cetrimonium chloride

    Cetrimonium Chloride

Smooths the fibre, reduces friction and limits premature wear.

  • Phytic acid

    Phytic Acid

Antioxidant action — preserves the overall quality of fibres over time.

  1. Dry-detangle

    Dry-detangle first

Before washing, gently dry-detangle the wig or extension from ends to roots, with a wide-tooth comb.

  2. Wet with lukewarm water

    Wet with lukewarm water

Soak the fibre in lukewarm water (never hot — it damages synthetic fibres) or rinse under the shower.

  3. Apply & rinse

    Apply and rinse

Emulsify the shampoo in the palm then apply without rubbing, following the direction of the fibres. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

  4. Move on to step 2

    Continue with the conditioner

Continue with the protective conditioner, the second step of the maintenance protocol.

Hair pieces require a specific maintenance protocol in several steps. A simple shampoo is not enough to preserve fibre quality over time.

The treating shampoo is the first step — essential for cleansing without altering and preparing the fibre to be protected and reinforced by the next steps.

REDACTIV 2® clinical study

Hair density visibly increases, month after month.

Randomised double-blind study conducted on 62 subjects presenting progressive and reactional hair loss, followed for 90 days. Phototrichogram measurement, cumulative gain every 30 days. Results illustrate the efficacy of the REDACTIV® complex — common base of all Renascor care.

Double-blind study, Laboratoire Renascor. Results observed in the study — not an individual promise.

After post-partum hair loss, in three months I regained density I thought I had lost. The lotion is light, with no heavy fragrance, almost cosmetic in feel.

Frequently asked questions

What you ask us
ask us most often.

REDACTIV 1 or REDACTIV 2 — how to choose?
REDACTIV 1 prepares a fragile scalp, post-chemotherapy or in the early phase of reconstruction: it repairs, soothes and prepares the biological terrain before regrowth. REDACTIV 2 takes over once regrowth is visible — it accompanies densification, hair diameter and resistance. Both care products share the same active base, the REDACTIV® complex, with a different formulation context depending on the scalp stage.
How long before results are visible?
First signs after 4 to 6 weeks. Density gains are measured every 30 days and reach their plateau around 90 days. A full routine lasts 3 months, renewable depending on the goal — densify, reinforce, or anti-aging maintenance.
Do your formulas contain minoxidil or a hormonal active?
No. No Renascor formula contains minoxidil or any hormonal molecule. The REDACTIV® complex acts on the follicular environment — microcirculation, perifollicular inflammation, hair anchoring, tissue matrix quality — without artificially forcing the bulb. No known rebound effect on stopping.
Which shampoo should I use during my routine?
The shampoo is part of the protocol. The choice depends on scalp condition: soothing by default (sensitive or under reconstruction), anti-dandruff in case of itching or dandruff, regulating on oily scalps, densifying or volumising on fine hair. A rotation between a technical shampoo and the soothing one is entirely possible.
Can these care products be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
As a precaution, the use of REDACTIV care is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek advice from a healthcare professional before any use. For other uses, REDACTIV is suitable for adults and children from age 3 (REDACTIV 2 — on hair longer than 1 cm).
Should I add a vegetable oil to the protocol?
No. Oils (castor, coconut, other fatty bodies) are not recommended on the scalp: they have no demonstrated action on regrowth and can disrupt scalp exchanges and sebum balance. For the lengths, our pea protein conditioner brings nourishing benefits without penalising the scalp.
