Our regulating shampoo is for scalps presenting excess sebum, in a rebalancing logic without aggression. Its 97% naturally-derived formulation does not seek to suppress sebum abruptly but to restore more balanced functioning.

It contains zinc chloride, recognised for limiting excess sebum secretion, and Rosa Canina for its antioxidant action. Its sulfate-free cleansing base respects the cutaneous barrier to prevent compensation phenomena.

It is the equivalent of the densifying shampoo for oily scalps — it accompanies the densification of REDACTIV 2® while keeping sebum production under control.

A 97% naturally-derived formulation that regulates without aggressing. No rebound effect — the scalp does not compensate by secondary overproduction.

  1. Wet the scalp

    Wet hair and scalp

Under lukewarm (not hot) water, wet the entire scalp.

  2. Massage the scalp

    Massage onto the scalp

Place a hazelnut-sized amount in the palm, emulsify and concentrate the application on the roots. Massage 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  3. Rinse & dry

    Rinse and dry

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Avoid drying that is too hot, which can stimulate sebum production.

Our regulating shampoo is for oily or oil-prone scalps — roots that re-grease quickly, excess shine, sense of weight. Its logic is not to strip but to restore balanced functioning.

It is used alongside REDACTIV 2® when regrowth is present but the scalp is oily. It allows hair densification to be supported while keeping excess sebum in check, without compromising the quality of regrowth.

Frequently asked questions

What you ask us
ask us most often.

REDACTIV 1 or REDACTIV 2 — how to choose?
REDACTIV 1 prepares a fragile scalp, post-chemotherapy or in the early phase of reconstruction: it repairs, soothes and prepares the biological terrain before regrowth. REDACTIV 2 takes over once regrowth is visible — it accompanies densification, hair diameter and resistance. Both care products share the same active base, the REDACTIV® complex, with a different formulation context depending on the scalp stage.
How long before results are visible?
First signs after 4 to 6 weeks. Density gains are measured every 30 days and reach their plateau around 90 days. A full routine lasts 3 months, renewable depending on the goal — densify, reinforce, or anti-aging maintenance.
Do your formulas contain minoxidil or a hormonal active?
No. No RENASCOR formula contains minoxidil or any hormonal molecule. The REDACTIV® complex acts on the follicular environment — microcirculation, perifollicular inflammation, hair anchoring, tissue matrix quality — without artificially forcing the bulb. No known rebound effect on stopping.
Which shampoo should I use during my routine?
The shampoo is part of the protocol. The choice depends on scalp condition: soothing by default (sensitive or under reconstruction), anti-dandruff in case of itching or dandruff, regulating on oily scalps, densifying or volumising on fine hair. A rotation between a technical shampoo and the soothing one is entirely possible.
Should I add a vegetable oil to the protocol?
No. Oils (castor, coconut, other fatty bodies) are not recommended on the scalp: they have no demonstrated action on regrowth and can disrupt scalp exchanges and sebum balance. For the lengths, our pea protein conditioner brings nourishing benefits without penalising the scalp.
