REDACTIV treatments

Where was REDACTIV treatments formulated?

Research & Development is at the heart of our business. We formulate our treatments on Paris (15) under the responsibility of our R&D Director, Catherine TAURIN.

Where are REDACTIV treatments made?

REDACTIV are manufactured by us, in France in the heart of the cosmetics valley, in DREUX (28).

Who can use REDACTIV1® ?

Anyone suffering from total transient alopecia in adults and children over 3 years of age (post-chemotherapy - post-radiotherapy - stress - anemia - hormonal disorder). REDACTIV1® reduces the inflammatory state of the scalp, and stimulate the hair follicle into the anagen phase. REDACTIV1® reactivates hair growth, stimulates cellular metabolism and significantly improves the quality of first hair growths.
REDACTIV1® is also recommended to facilitate healing and reactivate the capillary growth of bulbs implanted during plastic surgery.

Who can use REDACTIV2® ?

Adults, adolescents and children over 3 years of age suffering from partial transient hair loss following chemotherapy, radiotherapy, stress, exhaustion, anemia or hormonal disorders.
REDACTIV2® is also effective in the control of androgenic alopecia from grade 1 to 5 on the Ludwig scale.
REDACTIV2® is also indicated for mature sparse hair.

Is REDACTIV suitable for menopausal and pregnant women?

Yes, REDACTIV treatments, especially REDACTIV2® lotion, combat hair loss during hormonal disorders, including menopause, pregnancy or the end of pregnancy

At what age can REDACTIV be used?

REDACTIV1® & REDACTIV2® can be used by adults, adolescents and children over 3 years of age.

Can REDACTIV treatments be used during chemotherapy?

One of the objectives of chemotherapy is to significantly reduce cell renewal in areas affected by cancer. Among the objectives of REDACTIV, there is the local and significant increase in the cellular renewal of your hair follicle. Therefore, in order not to interfere with your cancer treatment, we recommend the application of REDACTIV after the last chemotherapy session and not during it.

Is REDACTIV suitable for progressive hair loss?

Yes, REDACTIV2® is suitable for progressive hair loss. The hair follicle tissue is the part that gives the shape of the hair. The softer it is, the larger the diameter of the hair produced, and therefore the thicker it is. From the age of 50, the hair follicle hardens. The hair then becomes thinner and thinner. Sometimes it becomes a simple down or disappears. It is a natural phenomenon related to old age.
As long as there's hair follicle, there's hope! REDACTIV2® does not manufacture hair follicle. On the other hand, it causes more hair follicle to pass through the anagen phase (awakening), and makes it possible to soften the hair follicle. The use of REDACTIV allows to have more active hair, and hair of higher diameter, hair that has a better hold.
Finally, REDACTIV2® improves the anchoring of existing hair.

Is REDACTIV care suitable for both men and women?

The effectiveness of REDACTIV is unrelated to the gender of the user.
You will notice that REDACTIV treatment is only very discreetly perfumed with "vegetable" and not "floral" scents. This choice was made to be adopted for both men and women

In which case does REDACTIV1® not work?

It would be unnecessary to use REDACTIV1® in the case of total androgenic alopecia. Because, in the absence of hair follicle, there can be no effects. In the case of partial androgenic alopecia, grade 1 to 5 on the Ludwig scale, we recommend REDACTIV2®.

Can I use REDACTIV1® after hair implants?

REDACTIV1® contains active ingredients that promote healing. On the other hand, the action of REDACTIV1® will allow you to activate more quickly the hair follicle that have been implanted. For these reasons, YES, REDACTIV1® is recommended by many plastic surgeons, hair clinics or hair implant specialists.

Can I adjust the REDACTIV treatment dose to obtain better results?

It is necessary to apply enough active ingredients to bring the hair follicle into the anagen phase. Reducing the dose means taking the risk of significantly reducing the effectiveness of REDACTIV. Increasing the dose will not provide additional efficacy. We therefore advise you to respect the prescribed dose for each treatment, namely 2 pressures per application, 1 time per day for REDACTIV1®, and 20 pressures per application, 1 time per day for REDACTIV2®. Treatment should be continued for 90 days.

After 90 days, can I stop the treatment, or should I continue it?

Yes, you can stop REDACTIV processing.
Yes, you can continue it.
You used REDACTIV1®. At the end of your treatment your hair measures more than 1 cm. We encourage you to continue the effort with REDACTIV2®.
You have been using REDACTIV2® for 3 months. You can stop it without fear of a rapid relapse, because there is no rebound effect. Why continue it? You will not have an average of 27,200 extra hairs (2x 13,600) by doubling the time of your treatment. However, you will benefit from a healthy scalp, dynamic growth, work on the hair follicle tissue, and an increase in the rate of growth of your hair. For these reasons, yes, you can continue processing REDACTIV2®.

Where to keep REDACTIV treatments?

REDACTIV can be stored 6 months after opening in a dry place, away from light.

Can I use hair powder as a supplement to REDACTIV treatments?

Hair powder does not alter the results of REDACTIV. On the other hand, the lacquer or fixing that is used to maintain the hair powder, yes.
Therefore, we advise you not to use any styling or fixing agents for the duration of the treatment.

Why is there no REDACTIV1® & REDACTIV2® sample?

Using a sample of our treatments would allow us to appreciate the fragrance and physical characteristics of REDACTIV, not its effectiveness. Because to be effective, it is advisable to use REDACTIV daily for 3 months. That’s why Laboratoire RENASCOR has chosen not to offer a sample.

What is the composition of REDACTIV1® & REDACTIV2®?

100% of the active ingredients used in the REDACTIV range are of natural origin. The composition of each serum is detailed in the "International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients" commonly known as INCI.
The complete formulation of REDACTIV1® is 99% natural in origin; REDACTIV2® is 98% natural in origin.

The ingredients used in REDACTIV, have been clinically tested in double-blind versus placebo. What does that mean?

There are several methods for conducting a clinical study. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, one group receives treatment and the other receives care without active ingredients. Neither the individuals in the groups nor the investigators are aware of the treatment or placebo. This makes it possible to eliminate any judgment, and to avoid a psychological influence on the results. It is therefore the most objective method.
